Public Speaking
As a speaker, I get so much joy from connecting personally with diverse global audiences, and I feel truly honoured that my design career has allowed me to do just that.
I am lucky enough to be regularly invited as a speaker at a variety of international conferences about subjects that I love. These include typography, branding, and how creating meaningful experiences is at the heart of good design.
You may not be surprised to learn that warm-hearted, personal storytelling is the focus of every talk I give; stories being such a timeless way to capture the hearts and minds of an audience.
Not only do I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for design in words, but my visual presentations are always beautifully-crafted and original… the complete opposite of ‘Death by PowerPoint’!
I am often invited to return to events I have previously spoken at, and from my experience I am confident that your audience will leave my talk feeling uplifted and enthused.
Rates & Availability
As a freelancer, my availability depends mostly on the amount of work I am involved with at the time of the event, and my speaking rates are based on elementary mathematics.
For a long, involved speech that requires a great deal of preparation and sustained time away from my day-to-day work, my fee will be calculated according to my daily rate (full day rate for the conference day, half-day rate for travelling days).
I also offer the option of a flat fee, if additional perks are included in the speaker package (for example meals, tickets to museums, and software licensing).
It is assumed that the event organiser will cover all of my travel and accommodation expenses.
